Tetley introduces Tea Masters, the UK's first online tea training course
Tetley is excited to announce the launch of Tea Masters industry-leading online tea training, specially designed for the out of home industry. Developed to address tea’s barriers in out of home, such as poor knowledge and quality of serve, and with hot drink consumers having a higher than average demand for quality1, Tetley is invigorating the category and broadening the educational reach to operators using online training to improve industry standards.

As the leading tea brand Tetley is sharing their 180 years of tea expertise. The free-to-access industry approved foundation-level course is presented by renowned Tetley Master Blender Sebastian Michaelis and suitable for all levels – whether front of house, a tea buyer or management. Taking users on a crop-to-cup journey in the art of the perfect tea serve, the fully-certificated course consists of four modules with a series of short training videos, followed by quick multiple-choice tests. On completion every user will receive a personalised certificate in recognition of their Tea Masters accreditation. The brand new education platform has been developed with CPL, the leading provider of e-learning for retail hospitality sector in the UK. Committed to high quality improvement in the provision of learning, development and training services they have 3.4 million courses completed to date and awarded the status of ‘Accredited Learning Technologies Provider’ by the Learning Performance Institute. Tea Masters is also supported by Beverage Standards Association and the Café Society, and developed with Paul Miekle-Janney managing director of the Coffee Community.
