Jaguar Land Rover Approved wins second consecutive What Car? award
Buyers can browse the Approved vehicles available through www.used.jaguar.co.uk or www.used.landrover.co.uk, where they will also be able to find both of What Car?’s newly crowned Used Car Awards winners — the Jaguar F-Type Coupe and the Range Rover Sport.
What Car? judges voted the F-Type as the ‘best used coupe’ under £35,000. From day one, the F-Type was engineered to provide outstanding agility and response without compromising the day-to-day usability and ride comfort expected from all Jaguar cars. The stiff, light aluminium body structure and all-round aluminium double wishbone suspension are fundamental to delivering on the promise of the F-Type’s ultimate sports car styling.
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport, meanwhile, was awarded ‘best used luxury SUV’ for under £60,000 by What Car?. The class-leading, genuine Land Rover all-terrain capability, breakthrough lightweight suspension design and innovative dynamic chassis technologies all set the Range Rover Sport apart from its luxury SUV competitors.
Alex Robbins, What Car? Used Cars editor said: “Despite strong challenges from some excellent used car schemes, Jaguar Land Rover's Approved scheme takes our Used Car Scheme of the Year award for the second year running. And no wonder; it still offers the same blend of qualities that endeared it to our judges last year: a long used car warranty; a comprehensive breakdown package including European cover; a sensible age and mileage eligibility limit, so that older, more accessible cars can be included; and a wide-ranging inspection process. In short, we reckon it's the scheme that offers the best peace-of-mind when going to a dealer to buy a used car.”
Jaguar Land Rover’s Approved schemes offer the same customer-focused approach as its new car sales; they are designed to complement one another and are jointly operated from its extensively renovated network of more than 200 retailers nationwide. Jaguar Land Rover’s new car range is more diverse and cutting edge than ever, too, thanks to recent introductions like the revolutionary all-electric Jaguar I-Pace and plug-in hybrid Range Rover and Range Rover Sport P400e.
